After two games on the road, Woodville is heading back home. They will take on the Huntington Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Woodville didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pollok Central, but they still walked away with a 63-58 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given Woodville's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 994th, while Pollok Central is ranked 461st).
Meanwhile, Huntington scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 60-56 W over Diboll.
Woodville's win bumped their record up to 14-17. As for Huntington, their victory bumped their record up to 10-22.
Woodville barely slipped by Huntington in their previous matchup back in January, winning 52-51. Will Woodville repeat their success, or does Huntington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
