Lee County and West Johnston pushed the score to 59-15 the last time they played West Johnston, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Yellow Jackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-7 victory over the Wildcats. The win was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets as they're now sitting on three straight.

Lee County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dylan Jones and Cody Graham. Lee County got some further help from Tyler Buchear: he made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Lee County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West Johnston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
