Pioneer has won 12 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Rowe has won 12 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Diamondbacks will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Pioneer narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sharyland 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Diamondbacks have posted against the Rattlers since April 14, 2022.

Fernando Gonzalez and Frankie Villa did most of the damage at the plate: Gonzalez got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Villa went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Those three hits gave Villa a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Roque Vela, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Pioneer was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Rowe made easy work of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest on Friday and carried off a 10-2 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Matthew Garza was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Miguel Soto was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. JC Garza Jr. was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Rowe has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pioneer, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Pioneer was able to grind out a solid victory over Rowe in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 8-4. Do the Diamondbacks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
