The match between Waldron and Elkins on Friday was not a total blowout, but with Waldron falling 20-36, it was darn close. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Waldron.
The loss dropped Waldron's record to 1-3. The win bumped Elkins' record up to 4-0.
Next week Waldron take on Dardanelle at 7:00 PM. Elkins will be staying on the road, facing off against Dover. Elkins are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Dover are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
