After flying high against the Airport Eagles on Tuesday, the Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars came back down to earth. Ridgeland-Hardeeville took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of North. While losing is never fun, Ridgeland-Hardeeville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while North is ranked 70th).
Jabien Harris and Poncie Capers certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Harris scored 20 points, while Capers scored 17 points. Harris continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jordan Sanders was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
It was another big night for Stetson Stacks, who scored 28 points for North. That makes it four consecutive games in which Stacks has scored at least 25% of North's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Jamison, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for North, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
