Volleyball Recap: Dillon Christian Has No Trouble Against Lake View

Dillon Christian hadn't done well against Lake View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wild Gators. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

While Dillon Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25, 25-21.

Several Wild Gators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nevaeh Price, who had 25 digs and two aces. Price is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Sarah Price was another key player, getting 17 digs and five kills.

Dillon Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for Lake View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
