Douglas County can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Rocky Mountain Lobos by a score of 6-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Jordan Blatter was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Gienger, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Douglas County's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Rocky Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas County will welcome Chaparral at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rocky Mountain, they will host Fossil Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lobos will need to watch out since the SaberCats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
