The Booker T. Washington Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by Pine Forest at home and fell 42-6. While losing is never fun, Booker T. Washington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 397th, while Pine Forest is ranked 96th).
It was another big night for Miequle Brock, who rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 58 receiving yards. Brock was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 63 yards.
Booker T. Washington's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.8 points per game. As for Pine Forest, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
Booker T. Washington's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tate at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Tate is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Pine Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
