The Polo Marcos won the last time they faced the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders, and things went their way on Friday too. Polo enjoyed a cozy 62-43 win over the Raiders. Polo pushed the score to 54-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders cut but never quite recovered from.
Polo was led to victory by Nolan Hahn and Brock Soltow. Hahn scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Soltow scored 16 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hahn has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Mumford, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Polo's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
Polo won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the at 10:30 a.m. on January 27th. As for Ashton-Franklin Center, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Broncos at 6:45 p.m.
