The Colton Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 13th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Pomeroy, falling 67-17. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Colton in their matchups with Pomeroy: they've now lost seven in a row.
Pomeroy was led to victory by Oliver Severs and Kyzer Herres. Severs scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Herres scored 17 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trace Roberts, who scored ten points.
Colton bumped their record down to 2-18 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Pomeroy, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.
Colton will head out on the road to take on Garfield-Palouse at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pomeroy, they will be playing at home against DeSales at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. DeSales is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
