The Westside Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Medina Christian Academy, falling 63-34. Westside Christian Academy was down 49-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaron Nicholas, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Biederman, who scored seven points.
Westside Christian Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Medina Christian Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westside Christian Academy will take on Christian Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Medina Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Lawrence Upper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawrence Upper is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
