Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dunbar couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 70-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Largo Lions. The Poets' loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Cameron Ward continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Largo, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 18 boards. That's the most rebounds Ward has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Johnson, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points and seven boards.

Dunbar's defeat dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Largo, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-3.

Dunbar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Largo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-48 win against New Town on the 14th.
