They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Milton Hershey in their matchups with Trinity: they've now lost eight in a row.
Milton Hershey's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jason Burney, who scored 14 points. Abdou Diene was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Trinity was led to victory by Reece Brown and Owen Schlager. Brown scored 22 points along with five steals, while Schlager scored 27 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Schlager has scored at least 25% of Trinity's points. Another player making a difference was CJ Nadzam, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Milton Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Trinity, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
Milton Hershey will be playing at home against Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Steelton-Highspire at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th.
