In what's become a running theme this season, the Salida Spartans gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They really took it to Rye for the full four quarters, racking up a  52-24 victory on the road. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Salida.
 Salida's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Graysa Kindle, who  scored ten points.  Juliana Anch was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points.
 Rye's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Taci Ehrlich, who  scored nine points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 The  win  got Salida back to even at 4-4. As for Rye, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salida will  square off against Peyton at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Peyton is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.2  points per game. As for Rye, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Colorado Springs Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Colorado Springs Christian will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
