Mo Hussein Dazzles in Deer Trail Victory
 Starting off the list is Deer Trail's  Mo Hussein, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hussein made 13 total tackles and defended three passes. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Hussein must have Miami-Yoder's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When  Hussein last faced the Buffaloes  back in October of 2023, he picked up  two  sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Junior Diaz Crosses Big Stat Threshold
  Junior Diaz's big game helped extend Hanover's winning streak to four on Friday. Diaz was excellent, rushing for 181 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's  now once again averaging 100+  rushing yards (110.2) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
 Diaz is probably looking forward to his next game, a  road matchup against Bethune on Saturday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time  Diaz saw the Bobcats), he rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown.

David Byers Makes It Two for Hanover
 The second Hanover player making an appearance here is  David Byers, and for good reason. He rushed for -4 yards.
 Byers might have his next game, a road matchup with Bethune, circled on his calendar. Byers rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Bobcats duked it out  back in September of 2023.

 Another Hanover player making an appearance on this list is  JJ Aguilar. He threw for three yards.
 On the year,  Aguilar  has averaged 0.6 passing yards per game.
