Sunset got a big performance out of Claire Townsend, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Townsend has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Pe?a, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Westview has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Sunset, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2.
