Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami). Everything went their way against the Downtown Doral Dolphins on Monday as the Miami Stingarees made off with a 20-11 win. Winning may never get old, but the Stingarees sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Santiago Espana-Reconco looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Noah Llovet was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Seven bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Darvin Linarte also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
