Gustavo Coronado was a major factor in Pinkston's win over Carter on Tuesday. Carter had no answer to Coronado as he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Coronado has become a key player for Pinkston: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 4-9 otherwise.

Coronado's strong effort led Pinkston over Carter and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinkston is 9-1 against Carter going back to March of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
