The Southeast Knights have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Warrenton Warriors on December 20th. Southeast will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 441st, while Warrenton is ranked 204th).
Southeast's 20-10 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. Their tough 52-29 loss to Chillicothe on Monday might stick with them for a while.
Meanwhile, Warrenton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They snuck past Howell North with a 41-35 win. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Warrenton has scored all season.
Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Warrenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
