Carver and Hull are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Carver Crusaders will be playing at home against the Hull Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Carver pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to Mashpee.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Hull, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They were outmatched by Avon on the road and fell 73-46. While losing is never fun, Hull can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Avon is ranked 97th).
Carver has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Hull, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9.
Carver was able to grind out a solid win over Hull in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 52-45. Does Carver have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hull turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
