The FAITH HomeSchool Falcons will head out on the road to square off against Faith Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as FAITH HomeSchool comes in on four and the on 11.
Last Friday, FAITH HomeSchool escaped with a win against the Fire by the margin of a single free throw, 37-36.
Meanwhile, Faith Baptist can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They breezed by Faith Christian at home to the tune of 52-23. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Faith Baptist had established a 28 point advantage.
Amy Ahrens was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Ahrens is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Ahrens, who scored 11 points along with three blocks and two steals.
The win got FAITH HomeSchool back to even at 6-6. As for Faith Baptist, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
FAITH HomeSchool might still be hurting after the 51-26 defeat they got from the in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ahrens, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 steals. Now that FAITH HomeSchool knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
