On Thursday, Barbe strolled past Reeves with points to spare, taking the game 63-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Barbe.
Despite the loss, Reeves still got an impressive performance from Cameron Cavenah, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds. The matchup was Cavenah's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Christian Williams was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Barbe now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Reeves, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barbe will take on Woodlawn-Shreveport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Woodlawn-Shreveport will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Reeves will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Welsh at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
