On Wednesday, the Barrington Eagles faced the La Salle Academy Rams in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Barrington came out on top against La Salle Academy by a score of 46-33. The victory was nothing new for Barrington as they're now sitting on six straight.
Isys Dunphy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Janaya Prince - baquero, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Barrington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for La Salle Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Barrington will head out on the road to face off against East Providence at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for La Salle Academy, they will be playing at home against Portsmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Portsmouth is ranked 22nd, while La Salle Academy is ranked 21st).
