On Thursday, Oak Park-River Forest made easy work of Nazareth Academy and carried off a 14-8 win. Considering the Huskies have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

With that strong performance, Hasapis is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Maura Carmody, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.
Oak Park-River Forest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March.
Meanwhile, York didn't have quite enough to beat Glenbard West on Monday and fell 4-3.
York saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myka Matykiewicz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Oak Park-River Forest pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for York, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
York's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Oak Park-River Forest has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. It's a different story for York, though, as they've only averaged .356. Will they be able to contain Oak Park-River Forest's hitters?
