After a string of seven wins, Severance's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 19-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timnath Cubs. On the bright side, the 16- run effort marked the Silver Knights' highest-scoring game to date.
Domanick Estrella-Torres was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kolton Beidleman, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
Severance's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Timnath, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
