Aric Goodman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. He set a new season high mark in assists with seven. Another player making a difference was Jai Lopez, who scored nine points.
Marshall's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-16. As for Churchill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.
Marshall's road trip will continue as they head out to face SA Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. SA Roosevelt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Churchill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lee at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Churchill in Texas (Lee is ranked 148th, while Churchill is ranked 444th).
