This season hasn't been kind to the Schuyler Warriors, who are still winless after their 12th game. Their rough 57-37 defeat to Lexington on Monday might stick with them for a while. Schuyler has not had much luck with Lexington recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Schuyler still got an impressive performance from Rico Rodriguez, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Cortez, who scored six points.
Schuyler's loss was their 15th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-12. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Crete the next time they take the court. Lexington will head out to face Crete at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Schuyler will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
