Maleah Galvan was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kayleigh Nash, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Halyn Rodriguez, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Tidehaven pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rice Consolidated, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rice Consolidated hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. However, it's not like Tidehaven struggles in that department as they've averaged .353. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Rice Consolidated might still be hurting after the 19-0 loss they got from Tidehaven when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Rice Consolidated avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
