With a playoff game on the line, the Episcopal Knights rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Panthers 38-14. The result was nothing new for Episcopal, who have now won seven matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Braeden George had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 207 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. Episcopal also got a significant boost from Reid Chauvin, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Episcopal, bringing their record for this year to 9-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points per game. As for Bunkie, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Episcopal will take on Newman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bunkie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
