Southridge gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 61-23 victory over the Pasco Bulldogs. With the Suns ahead 55-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tayton Jackman, who rushed for 129 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries. Jackman also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Another back making a difference was Gabe Borisch, who rushed for 93 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries.
