The Tippecanoe Red Devils will head out to challenge the Lebanon Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tippecanoe is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Tippecanoe is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Stebbins 15-4 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.
Anderson McKinney looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Preston Zumwalt, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Husic, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Tippecanoe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lebanon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They never let Talawanda get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Saturday. The Warriors are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the sixth matchup they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Cameron Healy looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Lebanon got a big performance out of Peyton Livingston, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Josh Beavon was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Tippecanoe pushed their record up to 18-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lebanon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tippecanoe has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lebanon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
