Gabriel Acevedo turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, scoring four runs and stealing six bases while going 3-for-4. As if that's not impressive enough, the matchup was his sixth in a row with two or more stolen bases. On the year, he has been strong no matter where he plays. On the mound, he has an ERA of 8.59 over 14.7 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat he has slashed 0.545/0.677/0.773 with 16 runs, plus 27 stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Acevedo and KIPP King will face off against Mt. Diablo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Devils will enter the matchup having just beaten Tennyson, so the Lions will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
