The Franklin Central Flashes will square off against the Roncalli Royals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Franklin Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Indianapolis Lutheran on Monday. The Flashes were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Saints. Winning may never get old, but the Flashes sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Olivia Starr made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 19 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Franklin Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. However, it's not like Roncalli struggles in that department as they've averaged .364. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Franklin Central suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Roncalli in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Flashes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
