The Spring Woods Tigers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against Tuloso-Midway by a score of 61-54. The victory was just what Spring Woods needed coming off of a 67-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Leading Spring Woods to victory were Trae Pickens and Jaelin Bargas. Pickens scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 blocks, while Bargas scored 18 points. The contest was Pickens' third in a row with at least ten points.
Spring Woods' win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Tuloso-Midway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Spring Woods will take on Lee at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday.
