The Riverside Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Twin Loup at home to the tune of 73-43. With that victory, Riverside brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.
Dane Schalk was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Drew Carraher, who scored 13 points.
The victory was the third in a row for Riverside, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.67 points. As for Twin Loup, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
Riverside and Elgin/Pope John will round out the year against one another at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th at. Twin Loup will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chambers/Wheeler Central on January 2, 2024. Chambers/Wheeler Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
