The Brighton Charter Tigers lost against Ville de Marie Academy back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Brighton Charter was the victim of a rough 46-24 defeat at the hands of Ville de Marie Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Brighton Charter has scored all season.
Loss or not, Brighton Charter got some senior leadership from Jadyn Mark who scored nine points and Dylan Mastrapasqua who scored seven points. Mastrapasqua scored a full 29.2% of Brighton Charter's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Brighton Charter's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.2 points per game. As for Ville de Marie Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brighton Charter will take on Paradise Valley Christian Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ville de Marie Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against James Madison Preparatory School at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
