The Taylorsville Warriors's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against West by a score of 52-44. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 17 more assists than your opponent, as Taylorsville did.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Taylorsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Bertagnolli, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Bronson Dallimore, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Despite the loss, West still got an impressive performance from Robert "R.J." Hansen, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The game was Hansen's third in a row with at least ten points. Elijah Albertson was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Taylorsville's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for West, they bumped their record down to 3-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Taylorsville will take on Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Allowing an average of 54.2 points per game, Granger has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this matchup. West and Hillcrest will face off at 1:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hillcrest is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.3 points per game.
