Mayville was led to victory by Marissa Vander Schaaf and Reagan Hardesty. Vander Schaaf had 13 digs and two aces, while Hardesty had six assists and four digs. Those four digs gave Hardesty a new career-high.
Mayville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Looking ahead, Horicon will face off against Pardeeville at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Mayville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wauwatosa West at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
