College Park Academy are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Fairmont Heights Hornets on February 6th. College Park Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Hornets are ranked 52nd).
Last Tuesday, College Park Academy was beaten by the Clippers 61-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points College Park Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Fairmont Heights stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by Crossland at home to the tune of 70-34. Winning may never get old, but Fairmont Heights sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
College Park Academy dropped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Fairmont Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
College Park Academy took a serious blow against the Hornets in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 72-42. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point College Park Academy was down 45-16.
