The Hayden Tigers's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Grand 50-10 on the road. The win was just what Hayden needed coming off of a 64-29 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Cale Howard, who scored 17 points along with six steals. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Logan Brown, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Hayden's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for West Grand, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Hayden will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Little Snake River at 7:30 p.m. Little Snake River presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hayden in their respective states (Little Snake River is ranked 43rd in Wyoming, while Hayden is ranked 235th in Colorado). As for West Grand, they will head out on the road to face off against De Beque at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
