Diego Montes Delivers Electric Effort Vs Sylmar
Starting off the list is Kennedy's Diego Montes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Montes rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 148 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 124 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Montes might have his next game, a home matchup with Panorama, circled on his calendar. Herrera and Van Nuys will take on Sylmar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves had to take a loss when they last met the Spartans, but Herrera had little to do with the loss: he threw for 246 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Luvon Nolen helped snap San Fernando's three-game losing streak. Nolen was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown.
