The Sheldon Panthers posted their biggest win since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 61-40 margin over Bronaugh. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Sheldon has posted against Bronaugh since December 18, 2018.
Bronaugh's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Strauss Banes, who scored 19 points. That was a full 47.5% of Bronaugh's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tucker Duncan, who scored eight points along with six assists and three steals.
Sheldon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Bronaugh, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.
