Basketball Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Takes a Loss

Saint Stephen's Episcopal lost against Bradenton Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons were dealt a 68-41 defeat at the hands of the Bradenton Christian Panthers. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's loss came despite strong showings from Marcus Motwani and Millen Batson. Motwani went 8 of 15 on his way to 19 points, while Batson posted 12 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Batson a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Cameron Brewer, who had four points.

Even though they lost, Saint Stephen's Episcopal was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bradenton Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
