Todd County Central hasn't had much luck against Logan County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rebels will face off against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Todd County Central will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Todd County Central took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Crittenden County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rebels skirted past the Rockets 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rebels have posted since April 12, 2025.
Todd County Central gave Noah Rager the start and clearly made the right call: he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. Rager is becoming a predictor of the Rebels' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Jacob Jackson picked up the save, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kody Kemp, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ty Jolly, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Logan County not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th (when they won 14-1). They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over Allen County-Scottsville.
Jonas Hayes spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Ty'Sean Thomeczek was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Callan Wright also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Logan County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
The victory got Logan County back to even at 9-9. As for Todd County Central, their record is now 6-7.
