Osawatomie led Pioneer in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Prairie View. Riley England ran for 301 yards during the win.
The Trojans made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,372 from 10,903. The advance stemmed from a 35-6 victory over the Buffaloes last week.
England was a passing and rushing force as Osawatomie defeated Prairie View.
Eric Small made the biggest impact on defense this week as Anderson County fell to Iola. He pulled down 1 interception.
England was a beast in the backfield as Rodney Madden's team bested Murray Zogg's team.
Carter Mann was the best wideout in the league this week as Wellsville topped West Franklin. Mann racked up 4 receptions for 98 yards. Trevor Heckman helped Wellsville's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 16 yards.
The Bulldogs' Zach Hilliard and Ryan Alley have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hilliard has thrown for 684 yards this season, while Alley has 22 catches for 291 yards. The Trojans' England leads the league in rushing yards with 2,005.
In 198 carries Hilliard has put up 913 yards this year.
Central Heights suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from second to fourth in Pioneer. A 25-22 loss to Osage City last week preceded the drop.
