While Wayland-Cohocton put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Dansville. The Eagles put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 21-0 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Wayland-Cohocton, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Dansville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayland-Cohocton will square off against Geneseo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dansville, they will challenge Avon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
