The Douglas Tigers posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 72-37 win over Carson on the road. With Douglas ahead 36-15 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Douglas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jett Lehmann, who scored 11 points along with five steals. Lehmann has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Reese Torres, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Douglas' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13. As for Carson, their loss was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing McQueen the next time they take the court. Douglas will head out to face McQueen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Carson will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
