North Duplin has gone 9-1 against Rosewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rebels will welcome the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Rosewood will take on a team with plenty of momentum: North Duplin extended their winning streak to eight on Thursday. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over East Bladen.

Lilly Fulghum was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2025. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Marissa Bernal was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, while Rosewood put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Spring Creek. The Eagles put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 16-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Like North Duplin, Rosewood also got a great game from a two-way player: McCandless St John. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). St John has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, earning four RBI.
In other batting news, Hayley Bedford was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Natalie Blake, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.
Rosewood's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for North Duplin, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
Rosewood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Duplin has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449. It's a different story for Rosewood, though, as they've only averaged .353. Will they be able to contain North Duplin's hitters?
North Duplin got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Rosewood by a conclusive 12-0 score. Do the Rebels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
