Two dominant signal callers in Kaleb McDougle and London Morgan are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Georgetown Eagles will host the Rouse Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Georgetown has three straight wins, Rouse has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Thursday, Georgetown took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-7 victory over Chaparral. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Jett Walker

| 09/26/25 vs Leander | 115 |
| 09/12/25 @ Copperas Cove | 105 |
Jett Walker had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 153 yards on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards. Xavier Warren was another key player, picking up 96 receiving yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Georgetown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chaparral only rushed for 146.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Georgetown's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Tennison Dean, Tyler Leininger, and Quinton Rock, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Rouse came up short against Cedar Park on Friday and fell 48-35.
Georgetown will need to focus on slowing down Anthony Reyes, one of several Rouse players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 111 yards and three TDs. Another player making a difference was Aubryn Davis, who gained 107 total yards and a touchdown.
Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Rouse, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Everything came up roses for Georgetown against Rouse in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-14 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
