Adding to the longest winning streak in Pac-7 this week, St. Joseph beat San Luis Obispo 16-6. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Paso Robles moved up to 272 from 306 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bearcats climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Righetti 31-12.
Paso Robles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Justin Davis threw for 144 and 2 touchdowns and Bailey Gaither had 77 yards receiving. On the ground Nathaniel Harris contributed 182 yards. Josh Oliver helped Paso Robles' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 23 yards.
The Bearcats' dynamic duo of Davis and Gaither proved tough for the Warriors to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Oliver helped Paso Robles' passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 23 yards.
Curry Parham provided a threat through the air and on the ground as St. Joseph beat the Tigers. He completed 14 passes for 193 yards and also ran for 13 yards. Parham's favorite target this week was Chris Barganier, who caught 3 passes for 67 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Rob Berwick and Izaiah Cooks, Atascadero has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Berwick leads the league in passing with 682 yards, while Cooks has rushed for 667 yards this season. Pioneer Valley's Eduardo Ruiz leads the league in receiving yards with 387 on 25 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when San Luis Obispo takes on Paso Robles. At the moment, David Kelley's team is in fourth, while the Bearcats are in second.
The league will see a high scoring game when the Greyhounds and Arroyo Grande face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Atascadero comes in having scored 175 this season, while the Eagles have scored 144. Vic Cooper's team scored 56 points last week as it beat the Panthers.
Pioneer Valley lost to the Greyhounds 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ernesto Barrera ran for 69 yards in the defeat.
